Wow, ok... SORRY it has been so long since my last blog!!  I will get to my excuses here in a bit, but for now I will just start updating you from the last post.

SATURDAY:
Went and figured what we're going to do for free travel.. talked to different places about prices for whale watching, scuba diving, jet skiing, para-sailing, etc.. I think we figured out that one day we are going with a package deal... for $150 we get to go whale watching and go to an island for the rest of the day and go para sailing!!  (canoeing, paddle boating, beach volleyball, laying out-- all free!)  Oh and I including the para sailing price in the total cost.. And also food is included!  Its the only actual thing we are going to do that long weekend.. So I think it is well worth the money and I should be a lot of fun!!  Soooo, Mom, you can gripe about me spending money now, sure you'll message me soon enough! hehe.. btw, you and Dad still owe me a hundred dollars!  (From the change we never cashed in).
Later we went and ate at the Hard Rock Cafe in Surfers Paradise!  It was so good!  and after we walked around surfers paradise and kind of shopped around a little.  I bought a really cute tee-dress!  (With my left over food money!! yay)  and I bought a boomerang as a souvenir.. Probably give it to my brother, lol.  Then we walked down the beach back to our apartment, freshened up, then headed over to Pacific fair shopping center, I bought a really cute headband for 4 dollars, and new flip flops; because I left mine in the rainforest.... ugh.
When we were done there we went back to the apartment.  I made dinner (chicken, fettuccine Alfredo with Garlic bread!)  And then I took a shower.. then we walked to Starbucks because we were going to be up late doing a lot of studying, and plus we had an online test we wanted to finish before we left for Brisbane....
OK!  So keep in mind it was SATURDAY night.  We had either just gotten out of the shower, or the hot tub.. Laura, Rachel, Andrea, and I were all in sweats/shorts/tee and decided to walk down the street to starbucks.. as soon as we hit the first line of restaurants we realized we made a mistake.. Its saturday night, everyone is dressed up super cute, girls in dresses and heels, guys in button ups, etc etc, you get the picture!  So we made our way to the coffee shop and got our coffee then started to continue back when some crazy guy yelled funny and did weird hand movements (head hands moving back and forth) and it was just so random!!  You kinda had to be there to understand what he did, but we DIED laughing for the next five minutes.. It was.. unexplainable.. haha.  Ok so we also realized we made another mistake when we see this group of Tall, Tan, and HOTHOTHOT Aussie guys walking toward us (obviously not to us because we looked like crap.. but past us).  At least we know where all the cuties are.. they come out at night!! haha.. jk. But forreal, they were cute.. and as soon as we passed them, they're probably not more than two steps behind us and Rachel says "DID YOU SMELL THEM!?"  hahahahahaha.. they smelled AWESOME.
We havent seen many good looking guys.. but weather they are ugly or not they always smell good! haha.
So we went back to the apartment, worked on homework and our test (which I got a ONE HUNDRED on!!)  and then I skyped and packed for Brisbane, where we stayed for the next two days.

SUNDAY:
finish in a bit.. I havent had internet since sunday so I have some homework I need to finish first before I go to bed!!

Ok, tried sending this like five times today!! So finally uploaded it from my blackberry onto the comp so I put it on here :)  It was the Hard Rock Cafe we ate in for lunch.. so bummed we couldnt stay for the battle of the bands concert they were having later that day!!

Blahhh.. Had classes all day long, and about to leave to watch a movie for class.  (I started writing this like five hours ago.. now I am in bed finishing this up!)

Ok, so to start from where I left off (kind of) After classes yesterday we left to go do water quality testing with Chris (he's one of our tour guides.. He worked with Pam to plan our tours and trips and all of our South East Asia experience.. he will be our guide there.. but anyway).  That was rather long and unnecessary.. It was fun catching fresh water shrimp though! haha.  And we caught a little fish with our nets!  (we had to record the type of life the water source supplied)  Then we moved to a different water source.. went to three different places.

Anywho!  Got back to the dorms, cooked dinner and went up to the guys apartment to watch GLEE!! (Don't worry it was open house last night, haha.)  Glee was legit, then we all just hung out and made up things to talk about so we couple procrastinate writing an essay that was due the next day.  I absolutely love some of the people on this trip.. well I mean everyone is so amazing, but we just had such a good time telling stories and just talking and hanging out together last night.  Finally we all dispersed and went to our apartments.. eventually Laura and I wrote our 300-500 word essay/movie reflection papers and finished around 130 in the morning.. whoops!

This morning we rolled out of bed around 730, threw on some clothes and made it to class by 8.  We had a full day of classes, so that wasn't the most exciting thing.  BUT!  after morning classes a group of us went and ate at a Mexican food place Laura and I stumbled across last night after grocery shopping.. We all had such a craving for Mexican food.  Luckily the food was good!  It just didnt really meet up to our mexican food standards.  I miss REAL mexican food!!  and Puerto Rican food ;-)  AND normal american food.. haha.  Anyways, after lunch Laura and I took a nap until our afternoon classes.  Finished up with those, came back to the apartment and made dinner (chicken, corn, rice) studied a little and got gelato (like Ice Cream, but better!) before heading back to the classroom to watch another movie; yet again!  It was pretty good, had a horrible ending though.  I think I maybe had seen part of it before though.. I feel like Dad watched it at the house one time... It had Mel Gibson in it when he was young, haha.  Looked good back in the day, hehe.  Oh!  and the movie was called Gallipoli, I believe this is how it is spelled.  It would be the kind of movie Dad would watch I think.

So anyways.. after the movie came back, studied some, did a little homework.. and now it is a little after one, so I need to sleep!  Just wanted to finish this up since I had already started it forever ago... aka, earlier today. I dont have class until 10 tomorrow though, so It wont be so bad.
But Goodnight everyone!

Tuesday, September 21, 2010

Ok Ok Ok.. I understand it has been another two or three day period since I have written.  But honestly nothing too exciting has happened.  On top of that I have been sick.

I wrote on monday I think (even though it says sunday for you.. It was monday here!)  I ended up feeling worse that night and after eating dinner and doing a little homework I curled up on the couch and watched Glee.  I just wasn't feeling good at all, I wanted my Mommy to come and take care of me and make me feel comfortable.  Lay my head down on her lap and have her run her fingers through my hair.. and cater to me! hehe.  Miss you mom!

Tuesday.. aka Yesterday:  Was a nightmare.. or night-daydream. haha.  I was contemplating keeping my Bible class for three hours or dropping it to two hours.  First, the only extra requirement for the three hour class is to write a research paper.  I was confused on what I was being asked to write about it, and everytime I asked my professor questions he kept on confusing me more and more.  BUT!  I got to skype my Daddy and he helped me through it all :)  We talked for quite awhile in the morning (late afternoon for him)  and he initially went through topics I could write on and he helped think my situation through and calm down about it.  Although after I talked to my professor again about what I planned on doing it still wasnt what he wanted.  Then I had Bible class and our Professor told us our topic choice was due by midnight that night... yikes!  So around 11pm my time when it was a tad bit more practical to call the house (it was 6am there)  I talked to Mom for a little bit and then Dad talked to me for over half an hour about what my professor really wanted and he helped me pick out a topic and I am really excited about it! :)

Sorry if this last paragraph is somewhat hard to follow, but long story short.. I Love my Daddy!! :)  I am glad even though I am thousands of miles away I can still talk to him and have conversations with him and he is still "here" to help me and guide me through my problems.  I am grateful to have an awesome, and SMART Dad. hehe.

Oh!! and by 1145pm my Dad helped me choose my topic:  How Christianity emerged from the synagogue in Corinth (Acts Ch 18); From the point of view of Crispus!  Oh did I mention we have to write this paper from the point of view from a character opposite Paul.. This is also not a typical research paper.  It will be written in a Narrative format.

But anywho!  Thanks Dad for all your help! :)

Today we've just had classes.... again.  But only a half day!  Although we have a little field trip/experiment for the next four-ish hours..  we'e doing water quality testing at a few different sites.... Fun!  So I need to sign off now so I can get ready to go.. Promise to write tomorrow!! maybe... haha.

Love You All!  (Love my Mom & Dad the most though!!) <3

Sitting at the hard rock cafe in surfers paradise!

Sunday, September 19, 2010

I will get to the surfing part, here in a minute, but first I must tell you what happened when I woke up.

So I knew I had a little bit of a cold, I had a runny nose for the past few days, but that wasn't bad or hard to deal with.  Well when I woke up yesterday morning, my hearing was weird.  I noticed that my ears felt clogged.  gross, I know.  Its not because I have earwax in them, I figured it was because of my cold, and mucus is trapped in my Eustachian tube/ auditory canal (runs from your ear to your throat).  Sooo double gross!  on top of that I just felt kind of awful.

But it was time to get ready for surfing!  Yay... ehhh.  I still wanted to go, because we got a major discount for so many of us wanting to do it.  (had five instructors, wetsuits, and surf boards, for only twenty bucks.. not bad.  And I used money I had left over from my food allowance! hehe).  Anyhow, Our instructors were pretty awesome.  They were the complete "hang loose", Aussie/Surfer Accent, chill kind of guys.  I'm just sad they weren't my age. haha.  They were all older guys, although there was one fourteen year old who helped people out (this kid looked like he was ELEVEN though!)  oh well.  They taught us first how to catch a wave without standing up and we did that for a while, then they taught us how to stand.  I did pretty good at just catching waves, standing was a different story.  I did stand up for a little bit once though! :)  Overall I am just proud of myself for not completely EATING IT like some other people did.  ha.  We are planning to go again sometime soon though.

The waves were rough/powerful though.  And the current was soooo strong!  Definitely not a day for beginners.. it wasn't even sunny out.  So hopefully next time it will be a bit more calm, sunny, and I'll feel better!

Nothing else really happened yesterday besides church and a birthday party!  :)

Today... I don't feel any better.  I took some tylenol this morning before lunch.  Afterwards, I went to the "chemist" (pharmacy/drug store) and bought some medicine, in hopes of clearing up my sinuses and chesty cough.. ugh.  Spending my precious money on medicine instead of fun things is not what I had in mind on this trip!  (It was still part of my extra money from my food allowance though! haha).  Now I am just sitting here trying to relax some before class.  And nothing else is planned for tonight so I will probably just catch up with everyone tomorrow!

Hang Loose <3

Saturday, September 18, 2010

Ok.. so I haven't written in a couple days.. Its been busy!

Thursday we started classes.... Fun! (sarcasm intended).  It actually wasn't that bad, I just hadn't gotten adequte sleep and so I wanted to be able to just rest.  I am taking Speech, which seems like it will be alright, Humanities, International Studies, and Bible! yay.. haha.  Oh well Classes are classes.  We have the most awful test next week.. we have to memorize like 45 countries, their capitals, and their populations.....REALLY!?  Oh well..

Anywho.. Friday we had only morning classes (Speech & Humanities) then we left for Binna Burra!  yeaa... wasn't so excited about that.  I mean, I would have loved to go but not the first weekend we had just gotten to our apartments.  Anywho.. we get there, and its SUPER cold.  AND we get to our rooms and.... you remember our 10x10 rooms w/ four beds.. We opened the door to a 10x10 room with NINE, yes, NINE beds!  yea.. about that.  we had "bunk beds" three sets of three beds.

The next day.. which is today.. Saturday:  we went on a THIRTEEN mile hike (approx. 20 kilos).  It was fun and interesting but maybe a bit too long.  It took 8 hours.. because we needed to keep everyone together and we stopped a lot; and stopped to look at things.  But pictures up soon!  I am just glad we are back in our wonderful (WARM) apartments.  I have been so worn out these past few days.. I just need some sleep, which I think I will get now.

Soooo, Goodnight everyone!  Surfing tomorrow afternoon! :)

Reading for bible at the beach inbetween classes.. God is good!
Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry
Ok, so this is going to be a bit shorter than normal.. I am tired and need to head to bed soon, but I wanted to blog just a little bit.  I know at some point I may not be blogging everyday.. and I have skipped over one day so far (but then my mom yelled at me for not blogging.. hehe, not really but kind of..) But I have decided I want to keep up with it as much as possible!  Anyway.. maybe this blog will be longer than I thought since I decided to go on a little shpeel there..

We had to wake up early this morning.... 630.. well the sun kind of woke us up then.  But we had to be down stairs and dressed nice to meet with our group by 745.  We walked to the surf club and had breakfast and another orientation.  They told us about classes and meeting times and a bit about other things we will do here in Australia and some things that are being planned for SE Asia!  Afterwards we boarded our bus and rode about an hour to Brisbane to ride a big ferris wheel they have there, as well as eat lunch, and watch "Mamma Mia"!

Funny story- Victoria got attacked by these giant birds and they ate her pizza... hahaha.  It was quite hysterical actually.  and also we had a bit of an encounter with some strong winds.

Mamma Mia was a fun play.. It wasn't exactly broadway material but still had good acting.  It was a tad bit more "crude" if you will than they play normally is.. from what I have heard; and compared to seeing the play in the US.  But I still enjoyed it.  and I liked singing along :)  Who doesn't like ABBA? haha, jk.

Before we returned back to our apartments we got to see where we will be having classes and we got to go grocery shopping!!  We got a 145 dollar allowance for this week.. and guess how much I spent?  only 65!  yay.. so everything else is extra for me :)

Well, I just got done talking on the phone via skype with my parents!!  It was so great to finally hear there voices.  and it was great talking to Dad.  I haven't been able to talk to him since I have been here.  I have been more in contact with my Mom; I figure she feeds the information to the rest of my family.  But I Love you Mom and Dad!!! So very much! :)

Goodnight Everyone!  Classes in the morning..... we'll see how that goes!

Tuesday, September 14, 2010

OK, so uhmmmm.. WE'RE IN THE GOLD COAST!!   Well in broadbeach to be exact.. but the point is, we are finally in our apartments where we will live permanently for the next three weeks and some days!  No more living out of suitcases for a while!

By ten o clock this morning we were loaded up on the bus to go..... to a "shopping centere" for two hours... It consisted of three stores and a little cafe, a post office, bank, and "super market".. needless to say we were done making our rounds within the first half hour.. But I guess it was better than sitting in the tiniest airport I have ever set foot in for two hours.  I was just happy to get on the plane and leave.  Dont get me wrong the outback was fun!  But there is no need to be there longer than two days; three days TOPS!  I would have liked to MAYYYYBE stay an extra day so we could go on like a safari or something; now that is what we really needed to do.. no offense to the big rock (Uluru/Ayers Rock) & the native people (Aboriginals) but we could have done all that in one day.

I did a little journaling, reading, and napping on the plane.. and bought a coke and crackers w/ cheese for seven dollars... I repeat.. SEVEN dollars.  Food is extremely expensive here.  That is one thing I did not expect.  I was so in want of a soda the other day that I paid FOUR; Yes FOUR dollars for it.  Its completely ridiculous.  I will not do that ever again.  I am glad we will finally be able to go grocery shopping and not have to spend fifteen dollars every time we want to eat a decent meal... ugh.

So after a three (& some) hour plane ride back to Sydney (no dirrect flights to anywhere else along the east coast I believe)  we had about an hour lay-over and then an hour flight to the gold coast.. After a short bus ride we arrived at our apartment building and got to go up to our rooms!! :)
Although I am not sure if we will be staying in this room or not; there is a bit of drama going on with that situation.  I like who is in our apartment though; I think it will be fun! :)  We will just see what happens tomorrow.. I am just bummed that I cannot completely unpack my suitcase tonight for fear of being moved round tomorrow.. ugh.

Welp I think that is about all I have for you tonight!  OH!! besides the fact that I failed to mention we have an OCEAN view!!

Ok well goodnight everyone!!  Subscribe or leave comments or something so I know I'm loved!! lol jk.... but really!

<3

Last night in the outback.. Kinda sad about it; but honestly there is nothing left for us to do here. Literally all there is here is the rock a few hotels and a store haha. We've done it all. Wish we could have gone on like an outback safari though.. We didn't see like any cool animals at all.. Haha. Oh well!

Today we went on a couple bus tours and stopped at a couple places around uluru (ayers rock). and the rock was open so we got to climb it!!! Well only like half way or more because we didn't have time.. Sad day. But oh my word it was a freakin workout! The trail is like straight up.. You have to hold onto chains to pull yourself up. But I'm glad we at least got to climb it a little. After that we went on a walking tour with an aborigional guide and he taught us the ways of his people and how they make fire and tools.. And taught us how to throw spears and carry baskets on our heads; lol. Later we went over to olgas (has some other more official name but I forgot it) its a different rock formation and we went on a hike through there. and before we went home we went and watched the sunset by uluru (as picturd below).

Then we came back and cooked out again.. It was good :) no dancing though.. Ha. I was ready to shower and relax. Our showers were warm too! Compared to our freezing cold ones last night..

Welp I need to pack and maybe journal before bed.. We leave for the gold coast tomorrow! I cannot wait to finally unpack my bags. Yay! But goodnight everyone :)

So the flight to the outback wasn't bad.. Got a little reading and journaling done. But oh my word when they say outback or bush they mean it.. we are in the middle of NOWHERE! I am so surprised I even have service! And at first when we got to our "hotel" we were rather disappointed..

We are staying in a 10x10 foot bungalow.. Four of us per room; HA! Definitely not our really nice spacious rooms we had in Sydney the last week! But I think we like it pretty well now...

We headed to our "hotels" outside "dining area" and for dinner we had a choice of chicken/ kangaroo/ crocodile/ steak and idk what else.. And you cooked it yourself on these grills and whatnot.. Ha. It was so fun! And so good; I had chicken and cooked it with some vinaigrette and salt and pepper.. Yum! And we had like a salad bar to choose from.. But to our surprise some live music started.. Its one of those guys that takes song requests and plays a variety of things.. Anywho after we were all done eating a few people headed to the dance floor and needless to say almost everyone headed there.. Ha. I just took a break to finish my blog :) its been so fun! Dancing with old people, and conga lines, and jumping around being silly.. Ha. Tonight has been the highlight of my trip for sure! The dude is playing some Micheal Jackson right now.. Too fun. But anywho I think I am signing out for the night!

Peace and blessings <3

Me in front of the watering hole at the base of ayers rock.. Whenever there is water it is the biggest fresh water basin. Although it is said that the water spirits always granted the aboriginals (natives) prayers by placing water there (without it having to rain... Etc. You get the idea)

Ayers Rock! Officially in the outback!

Its formal name is Uluru.. And this picture does not do it justice; its HUGE!! And you see the clouds? Yea that's extremely rare... Its the desert. This is the wettest its been since the 1950's! And because it is wet we don't get to climb it :( sad day. But we don't want to die! Lol. Our director said in her accent "you will slip, and die!" haha.. Any who.. I'm kinda glad its rainy; that means much less flies! No learning the Australian wave for me :)

At "The Man in Black" production at the Sydney Opera House!

And that's where my phone died.. It was a Johnny Cash tribute basically but it was so good! And just being able to say I saw something in the Sydney opera house is awesome!
Getting there was interesting though ha.. The seven of us that paid to see the show were left to find the opera house on our own.. After walking halfway there a nice bus driver let us get on his bus for free and he took us ha.. But once we got there Victoria found out that she had lost her ticket lucky for us Australians are very easy going and printed a replacement ticket for her. After the show we decided to walk back.. It only took like twenty minutes. And it was nice to see the city and all the life it contained at night.
Its weird because I feel so safe here; for a big city it has such a relaxed and friendly feel to it.

But I am headed to the internet cafe to use my computer for the first time! I will finish me BLOG there :)
Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

Ok!  In the cafe now.. well actually in Starbucks.. the cafe was closed.  But ok, Yesterday:  We boarded the bus and our driver took us on a tour around ALL of Sydney, spitting out random facts about random places the whole time.  There was only a couple of places we got to stop and get off.. One of which was Bondi Beach.. there were so many surfers there!  The swell wasnt very big there, but good enough for a beginner like me ;-)  and omg, ok so all of us girls were trying to take a picture with our feet in the water and the boys waited until a big wave was coming (and didnt tell us) until it splashed all over us and soaked us when they took the picture! ha.. Then we were wet for most of the day.. but got a pretty funny picture out of it.  Anywho.. there were also these guys with hot bods doing flips and stuff on the beach.. we think it was like a dance crew or something, there were alot of them..  After that we only really stopped at a couple of places with a good veiw.  Then we were dropped off for lunch; which was at a little German cafe.  It was really good!!  I literally stuffed myself.  Afterwards we walked around the market a little and then walked over to the Sydney Opera House for a guided tour.  The Sydney Opera House was AMAZING!  My only disappointment was that I thought it was bigger.. lol.  But it was gorgeous (pictures on fbook later!).  And then like I talked about above the seven of us that bought a ticket saw "The Man In Black" show that night.

OK!! now today is our free day.  We woke up and shower and got ready; met everyone in the lobby by 930..  And walked roughly in the direction to Paddy's Market.  We stopped at a few stores along the way.. One was called SES.. I bought two dresses- $14 total!!  They are really cute and wont take up much room.  and then we eventually made our way to the Market (like a flea market) and walked around.. I didnt buy anything there though.  But thats ok.. I dont want to buy too many things.  We just got back to our rooms not to long ago to relax, and now in the cafe like I said.. After here we're going to put our computers and whatever else back in our room and then go to the revolving restaurant (which has an amazing view so I am told!)  Then tonight we have THE WALLABIES VS THE ALL BLACKS Rugby game!!!! :D  cannot wait!

Tomorrow we will fly to the Outback to Ayers Rock (Uluru or something like that is its native/aboriginal name)  We get to climb it the next morning as well, weather permitting.)  but I think I am going to try and upload some pictures now before I leave so I will talk soon!!

LOVE EVERYONE!

Thursday, September 9, 2010

FINALLY back in our rooms for the night after a very very long day which consisted of waking up at approx seven and eating crumpets with nutella.. To die for! Then me and Laura walked to starbucks and got coffee.. Also to die for!
It also consisted of walking to the Hyde park barracks where convicts were housed (later used as an immigration depot and used to house elderly, destitute women.) Next we ventured to a museum and had an introduction to the native aboriginal people; their lifestyles, how they dealt with the English invading their land etc.. Last we went to St. Marys Cathedral.. Omg this place was so gorgeous. We weren't allowed to take pictures but I managed to steal a shot before I got the memo.. Do you'll see it up on facebook whenever I upload pictures.. Aka once I can use my computer..
I know this seems rather long and boring but it was fairly interesting.. And It was definitely all worth it when we got to see "Wicked" tonight!!! Omg cannot even explain.. It was simply amazing. I have waited so so long to see it. Oh and I like cried during the defying gravity number.. Lol. I wish I could relive that moment again and again.. And I wish I could relive it when I wasn't so tired :( but I got a tshirt! Lol. Spent money on my first 'souvenier' tonight!
But now I am in bed and it is almost midnight (seven am call time/ nine Arkansas time/ ten Georgia time) and I still need to finish journaling, so I think I will call it a night! I will try to update next as soon as I can.. Guess well see when that will be! :)

Until next time.

In Sydney!

(Just realized I forgot to send this after we arrived at the airport!)

Sydney Opera House

Ok.. I think I officially believe we're in Sydney now!!

Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

FINALLY in Australia!! Well ok we've been here for about five to six hours.. I've been exploring Sydney with Laura (after we took showers that is..) the showers were amazing.. Ha ha. There wasn't anything really special about them, they just felt good after a 15 hour plane ride.. I slept awfully ha..

Ok sorry I keep jumping around. So once we landed we went through customs.. Didn't take too long. We were all so giddy when we heard our first Australian accent. Ha.. Then we took a bus to our gorgeous hotels :) I love our rooms. We took showers, and got ready then set out to walk around the city!

I absolutely love it here. Its so amazing. And I've barely seen any of the city yet ha. Its such a modern city and clean. It has the big city look yet its so relaxed.. I can't quite explain it. Ha.. We have already gotten made fun of for our American accents. Me and Laura went to a little coffee shop and asked for a mocha and I guess we just said it wrong lol. But any who. We took our mochas and sat on a bench in the cute little park across from our hotel.

We headed back to the room after a while and had orientation and now we just walked from the hotel to a places called mamma's pasta for lunch :) later we will go on a harbor cruise for the late afternoon and will go out for dinner. I'm just glad that we come in early so we can get some sleep! Ha ha.

I probably won't bloc later tonight. It would probably be even more incoherent than this bloc is.. Ha. Got ta love jet lag :)

Until next time!

Ok.. So how about I am on the freeway getting closer and closer to the airport as I type, and I still don't feel like I'm actually leaving! It still hasn't hit me yet believe it or not.. I felt a little bit of nervousness earlier today but it passed quickly.. Guess I will see what happens when I finally get to the airport and reach the gate!

I cannot wait to see the bestie (aka Rachel), the rooms/sister (aka Laura), and the rest of our suite!! (Andrea, Victoria & Jamie). I am glad I have such a good group of friends coming! :) and I am about to see them because I just got to the airport!!

Stay tuned for future updates ;-)

This is about the extent of my packing so far...
I leave tomorrow.. Whoops :/
Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry
Blogging from blackberry/email is officially set up! Now I can update from wherever I am :) Ok.. Now its really time for bed!
Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry
Ok.. so basically, I do not know why I am still awake right now.  If anything I should be packing because and not lounging around on the computer.. because I am still yet to be finished.  joyjoy, leaving all the work until the day before I leave.

Wow, even though it is only approx. 1:55 am it is technically Sunday.. I technically leave for Australia TOMORROW!  It seems like just yesterday I was counting down the days saying, "only 98 more days to go!"  It seems so unreal that THE DAY has finally come.  I still don't feel as if this is all really happening.  "I'm going to board a plane for 15hrs and arrive in Australia?  No way!"  I guess it wont really hit me until I am physically there.

Although, for lack of any idea on what to write on at the moment, I am going to hopefully shut down my laptop and attempt to sleep.  I will update you hopefully tomorrow on how my "getting ready for Australia" progress is coming along :)

Goodnight everyone!
